What Does it Mean to Be Born Again?

What does it mean to be born again? You’ve probably heard this term your whole life. You may have even called yourself a “born again Christian.” But have you considered what it means?

When you hear the gospel, that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose again from the grave, and you repent and put your faith in Jesus, He will raise your spirit from the dead and give you new life, a Spirit-filled life, that loves God and desires His will. And you are born again.

“For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22). In Him we are born “not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:13).
So no longer live in your old dead ways, but according to the new birth you have been given…
