The Yard Team Feeds 300 Hospital Heroes During the Coronavirus Pandemic

The Yard Team Feeds 300 Hospital Heroes During the Coronavirus PandemicThank you to those involved in their “Help the Heroes” initiative. San Diego pro athletes Nick Hundley & Heath Bell (Padres) along with Nick Novak (Chargers) joined host Marcus Preciado to deliver 300 Chick-fil-A meals to Sharp Memorial’s COVID-19 Response Team.

We wanted to let the incredible Sharp Memorial team know that they are appreciated, that God loves them, and that they are heroes worthy of all our gratitude. They go to work and offer up their health and even their lives to care for and save the lives of total strangers.

Special thanks go out to 7 Cold Brew for donating 300 ice cold, refreshing drinks for the hospital staff, Chick-Fil-A for their generous donation of all the meals, Pastor John Hilton of the Chapel at Grossmont, and Pastor Tony Orlando of Lifepoint Church for prayerfully and financially supporting our efforts.

The best part is that our team is still hard at work. Help the Heroes has plans to do more for those heroes on the frontlines, from medical staff to law enforcement and other truly essential people in our community.
