COVID-19 Quarantine Encouragement from Heath Bell
The head brewer of 7 Cold Brew Coffee offers encouragement through trying times.
With all of us isolated in our homes, it’s comforting to know that as followers of Jesus, we are never alone. God wasn’t kidding when He said, “Don’t be afraid because I will be with you.”
To help remind us of God’s promises, we have reached out to our “Friends of The Yard”. This week, we welcome former San Diego Padres All Star Heath Bell!
Heath Bell, 3x MLB All Star Pitcher:
My favorite Bible verse is Romans 12:21, which says:
Do not let evil overcome you, but overcome evil with goodness and kindness. (Romans 12:21)
What that means is that when bad things happen, you can definitely overcome them. You can find goodness out of those times. Even greatness!
I try to instill that into my kids. I tell them, “If anything bad happens, it’s for a purpose. There’s a silver lining underneath it.”
Take, for instance, this coronavirus. We can get through this.
I feel that if all of us can do even just a small part and remember that we are a family who love each other and respect each other (while I try to keep everyone caffeinated)… we’ll see each other through this!
Love you guys and God bless!
