Encouragement from former pro skater and Owner/Creative Designer of Finesse Brand, Steve James
The Tech Deck Designer offers encouragement through trying times.
During these often confusing and tumultuous times, it’s comforting to know that as followers of Jesus, we are never alone. God wasn’t kidding when He said, “Don’t be afraid because I will be with you.”
To help remind us of God’s promises, we have reached out to our “Friends of The Yard”. This week, we welcome former pro skater, Steve James!

I wanted to share with you my favorite Bible verse. It’s 2 Corinthians 5:7, which simply says:
We walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
I know that there are a lot of things out there that we see going on that can be confusing and even scary. I know that these are some challenging times. The virus has affected our schools, our jobs… everything. But, be encouraged: Jesus is still on His throne!
We will get through this. It’s just important that we walk by faith, not by sight. We need to keep in mind that God is in control. He has gotten us through things before, and He will keep His promises and do it again. And, we will come out of this much stronger than before!
