Flying is innately scary, uncomfortable and captivating.  We make irrational decisions, conclusions and purchases while being hurled in a metal canister 30,000 feet above land – sometimes humorous and sometimes just sad.  Then there is dealing with the flight attendants – the gestapo of the aircraft.  Yet, flying is still safer than driving and it offers opportunities to grow in courage and faith… as we stare death in the face with our knees stuffed to our chin.
