You have to do your best whenever you are working with people in order to avoid interpersonal train wrecks.

One example:  just before Thanksgiving, a woman’s elderly mother died while vacationing abroad.  Subsequently, they had Mom’s body delivered to her hometown for services.  But when they opened the casket just before her wake, they discovered that the wrong body had been delivered!

To avoid further complications, the family continued with the wake, but opted for a closed casket service.

What they eventually found out was that Mom’s body was accidentally shipped to Canada.  What’s worse, the funeral director refused to admit that a mistake had been made whatsoever!  Yet, when the funeral home half-heartedly attempted to make up for the “confusion”, they offered the meager compensation of allowing the family to keep the body that had been mistakenly delivered to them.

And, to add to the calamity, when the death certificate finally arrived, no cause of death was given and their mother was listed as a man!!
