My dad likes to rattle cages sometimes.  To turn common thought on its ear and grab people’s attention.  To make people consider why they think and believe what they think and believe.  Therefore, he says that EVERYONE IS PREJUDICED.

Whether you want to admit it or not, each of us comes from a different vantage point and finds truth from our disitinct viewpoint.  We then tend to pre-judge circumstances based on that unique point of view.

Now, we could merely dismiss those who disagree with us or come from a different viewpoint (or prejudice) than we do, or we can WORK to think of others instead of selfishly thinking of only ourselves and our “truths”.  You see, once we try to examine and understand eachother’s thought process and not immediately dissmiss someone without hearing them out, then we can have honest dialogue and discover where real truth and understanding might lie.
