Matthew 6:31-34 (NKJV)
Therefore do not worry, saying “What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear?” for after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about its own. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
You talk about a passage that hits us right where we live. This is it. You’re about to hear one explained in this PODCAST!
The operative word in this passage? Jesus said it three times: “Worry!” As in, “Do not worry!”
I can even summarize Jesus’ message even more concisely than that. How about just one word? “Relax.”
Jesus assured the precious people on that hillside that day (and us!) that when it comes to the pressures and problems of life, they and we CAN Relax! As if to say, “I’ve got your back. I’ve got it covered. I can handle it. I will handle it.”
His message, as explained in this podcast, reverberates with a blazing bright message of hope and encouragement.
Allow Jesus to dispel your dark clouds of worry, and to replace them with His matchless peace.
