Im Waiting SliderWe’re wrapping up our interview with Ricky Garza from our previous podcast, today Ricky and I discuss the eternal impact a Dad has on the lives if his children.

Recently Ricky and I were at a conference and we heard someone say when a Dad comes to know the Lord it has a greater impact than if a mother comes to know the Lord.

As Ricky puts it, scripture has man in there for a reason, and often our role reflects what Jesus did for the church. Looking at the demographic of our churches with the majority being 65% women and 35% men, there is a great need for men. They are not present in their marriages, their kids lives or even the churches they attend.

If a father comes to the Lord there is an 84% chance that the whole household will. That’s why it’s so important to go after the heart of a man. It’s so important to talk about because men are absent in so many areas today.

In Ricky’s life this rings true, he shares how not just his immediate family but his extended family was save with the influence of his father, just a year after his father was saved by the Lord.
