God. Forgives. Sins. All of our sins!
It may be something you’ve heard a hundred times and you already know, but have you really, deeply considered this fact?
Throughout the Old and New Testaments, God’s word proclaims that He is merciful and forgiving. But, while we live on this earth, we’re stuck with other people. Even though when He forgives, God never thinks of our sins again – other people, unfortunately, almost never forget each others’ flaws and infractions.
But God says, “I forgive you.” Therefore we no longer need to be spiritually paralyzed by our past poor choices. As Paul says in Philippians: I forget what is behind me and I struggle for what is ahead.
In other words, let other people say whatever they want about us – it doesn’t matter because: We. Are. Forgiven!!
