ABOUT THE HOST

OPEN THE GATES

Open the Gates aims to train and equip Christians to reach out the Muslim community around who have not heard the true Gospel.

THE PODCAST

Open the Gates addresses The Five Objections to Christianity instilled in Muslims that cloud their understanding of the Gospel. Pastor Daniel will show you how to clearly, simply and effectively answer each of these objections. Current events in the Middle East are giving us a unique opportunity to reach out to our Muslim friends, neighbors and co-workers. Daniel will also provide you with simple ways to engage Muslims about Christ and their eternal destiny. It is God’s heart to reach the Muslim people. As we read in the Gospel of Matthew, “The Gates of Hell shall not prevail” (Matthew 16:18)

Christians must recognize that Jesus won’t return until the Great Commission is fulfilled. Jesus commands us to “Go and make disciples of all nations” which includes the unreached descendents of Ishmael. Pastor Daniel’s passion is to train American Christians that instead of being afraid of their Muslim neighbors, to show them Christ’s love and introduce them to the One True God.

PODCASTER BIO

Daniel Massieh is a former Muslim who came to Christ via a supernatural experience while living in his homeland of Egypt. After his conversion, he became zealous to share the gospel with his beloved Muslim countrymen. Consequently, he was thrown into Egypt’s most notorious prison where he spent eight months, two of which in solitary confinement. He was beaten, neglected and persecuted in prison for his faith. After immigrating to the United States, he became a pastor and formed the first Arabic church in San Diego. He also founded Open the Gates Ministries, whose vision is to train and equip the church to communicate the gospel to Muslims. He has served as a missionary in North Africa, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, and Spain. He is the author of “Traitor to Islam” depicting his incredible journey as it ministers to both Christians and Muslims. Daniel holds an M.DIV from Bethel Seminary.
