ABOUT THE HOST

JESUS IN HD
Pastor and author Dewey Bertolini (@DeweyBertolini) presents ”Jesus in HD!”
We are learning SO MUCH about Jesus — His life, His ministry, His teaching and so much more. In this series of podcasts, we are seeing Jesus like we’ve never seen Him before. And the view is AMAZING.

THE PODCAST
By harmonizing the four Gospels — Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John — we are studying the life of Christ in chronological order, from the first utterances of the angels heralding His birth, to His crucifixion and resurrection. It is our sincere hope and expectation that as we immerse ourselves in Jesus’ life and ministry, we will fall more deeply in love with Him, and become more and more like Him. As we read in 1 John 3:2, “My dear friends, we are already God’s children, though what we will be hasn’t yet been seen. But we do know that when Christ returns, we will be like him, because we will see him as he truly is.”

These podcasts were recorded at The Safe Haven, the most delightful and precious group of people you’d ever want to meet. We are THRILLED to include you in this virtual way as a part of our extended Safe Haven family. Enjoy!

PODCASTER BIO
Dewey has been married to his dear wife, Rebecca, for 36 years. They have two grown children — Dave, and his wife Amy; Ashley, and her husband Chris; and four grandchildren — Callie, Nora, Maggie, and Naomi.

A committed follower of Jesus who is unapologetically conservative in his theology without being uptight, legalistic, judgmental, or angry. Dewey speaks annually to thousands of young people and adults through camps and conferences throughout the country. He has written five books, and has been featured on such varied broadcasts as Focus on the Family and the 700 Club.

Hopeful in his outlook. Redemptive in his purpose. Joyful in his heart. Worshipful in his spirit.

A man who prefers to define himself by what he is for, rather than what he is against.

Basically, Dewey is simply a guy of loves God, loves His Word, and loves people; all the while trying to keep his life that simple ‘cuz, honestly, “It’s not that complicated.”

The Apostle John turned out to be quite the lyricist. One could almost sing some of his melodious verses. In fact, many of us have. As you will hear in this PODCAST, John wasn’t a scholar, not by any stretch of imagination. Quite unlike the Apostle Paul, for example. John engaged in virtually no complex doctrinal […]

John 11:53 is a most remarkable statement.
