ABOUT DAREN STREBLOW
Daren Streblow’s imagination got him into hot water long before he became the host of The Daren Streblow Comedy Show. Acting out the role of his favorite superheroes in his neighborhood, Daren got an early start in the entertainment business. After a trying high school experience, Daren found his niche as the youngest broadcaster for KDNW, a network affiliate for Northwestern College. In 1995, Daren began his comedy career performing stand-up at the ACME Comedy Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This was a great time of learning as Daren honed his routine. Daren also learned how to write and perform clean comedy to a wide range of audiences giving him the seal of Nightclub Tested, Family Approved. As Daren grew in popularity he made appearances on Bananas TV and the Thou Shalt Laugh Series. He is also a featured performer on Disney Cruises as well as several national music festivals.
As the host of The Daren Streblow Comedy Show, Daren brings his family friendly style of comedy to the airwaves. His desire is to provide a weekly vacation from the stresses and pressures of life – giving a recharge through laughter. Daren offers a regular smorgasbord of laughs from some of the best comedians working today without the audience worrying that the comedian will say something profane or crude. This family centered attitude is abundant in all areas of Daren’s life.
Daren and his wife Erin live in Minnesota with their four boys. In his spare time Daren enjoys drinking a good cup of coffee, learning about the latest technological gadgets and making posts on his blog.

The Daren Streblow Comedy Show 142: Grocery Store and Jonnie W

People who work at the grocery store make me feel stupid; specifically when I ask them where stuff is. “Excuse me, good sir! Could you direct me to the canned peaches?” *Groans* “Aisle six, center, south side, third shelf from the top, latitude 44.08, longitude 108.75. Duh.” I don’t appreciate being treated that way, so […]

The Daren Streblow Comedy Show Mini-Cast 141: Dog Names, Bone Hampton & Darrell Dyer

I think it’s weird how people name their dogs. I mean, it’s clear that dogs aren’t even aware that they have names. “Your name is Spot.” “OK… whatever. Whatever you’re trying to communicate with me is fine. I’ll just keep wagging my tail like this because you seem to enjoy it. Ya got any food?! […]

The Daren Streblow Comedy Show Mini-Cast 140: Arguing with Six-year-old, Steve Geyer & Bob Smiley

Arguing with a six-year-old is like nothing else in life. There are simple “argument rules” that they simply don’t abide by. For instance, when entering into a debate, each statement you utter should be backed up by reality. But, they are unaware of that restraint. Also, in a six-year-old’s rationale, they can begin, substantiate and […]

The Daren Streblow Comedy Show Mini-Cast 139: Emoticons, Lisa Mills & Chonda Pierce

I have a college degree in Communications. And, one of the unchanging facts in communicating with people is that emotion cannot be accurately conveyed through textual (versus verbal) interaction.
